A comparison is only useful if it's honest. JobNimbus is a good product, and for a lot of roofers it's the right one. Here's what it does well.
If your work is mostly residential, leans on those specific integrations, and you're happy assembling and running the setup yourself, JobNimbus is a proven choice. The rest of this page is about the cases where ClickWerxs is the better fit.
Both cover the CRM basics. The differences are in financing, commercial depth, branding, and how it's set up.

The differences that matter once you're running commercial roofing at scale.
JobNimbus routes your customer to its own referral partner. ClickWerxs integrates whichever lender you already work with and keeps the offer on the proposal record, so the terms, the signature and the job stay together. You control the relationship, and the approval keeps the customer inside your process instead of handing them off.
Multi-building jobs are inspected and proposed building by building, each with its own scope and photos, then combined for pricing and acceptance. That's how commercial roofing actually works.
Proposals and inspection reports are themed to your brand and colors, not a generic template with a logo dropped in the corner.
Inspection flows into the proposal, the proposal into a legally-binding signature, the signed proposal into an invoice, all in one app, no re-keying between tools.
We set up your templates, pricing, PDFs, and workflows before go-live, so the platform matches how you already work on day one.
No per-seat math, no separate texting tier, no 'contact sales to find out.' One all-in quote configured to your operation.
Most roofers don't run JobNimbus alone. They add a proposal tool, an e-sign tool, and a financing service around it. ClickWerxs replaces the whole stack.
The typical assembled stack
Four logins, four bills, and data copied by hand between them.

One login, one bill, one connected flow.
None of these are failings. They are requirements that do not arise in the work it was designed around.
A commercial property is rarely one building. Each one carries its own findings, photos, substrate and scope, and the proposal has to hold them separately before combining for pricing. Averaging a campus into a single number is how commercial bids get lost, or worse, won at the wrong price.
A commercial job spanning four months is not invoiced once at the end. Progress billing, draw schedules and retainage are the normal case, and in most roofing companies the substitute is a spreadsheet somebody maintains by hand alongside the CRM.
Sub payables tied to the lien waivers that release them, rather than chased by email and reconciled from memory at month end. On commercial work the waiver trail is often what the general contractor audits first.
JHAs, toolbox talks, near-miss and incident logs and vehicle inspections, captured on the phone and timestamped. Commercial sites get audited in a way residential re-roofs do not, and paper in a truck is not a defence.
The part JobNimbus structurally cannot match
Not a configuration toggle or a workaround. Actual development against your workflow, in the platform you already use, released to your account. It is the reason a contractor picks a smaller vendor over a mature one, and it is worth being precise about how it works and what it costs you.
One commercial roofing customer runs an inspection workflow built specifically for them: their own report structure, per-building caution blocks, their section ordering, and report themes locked to their brand that no other tenant can select. Smaller requests move faster. Job-type-scoped task lists on daily time cards and a foreman confirmation step before hours reach payroll were specified and built over one weekend.
JobNimbus's integration marketplace is deep for exactly the reason it cannot bend to one shop. A product company serving thousands of contractors from one codebase cannot ship a feature for one of them. Your request joins a roadmap and competes with everyone else's, which is the correct decision for their business and a structural limit for yours.
Below the bespoke tier, a lot is already yours to set: which modules are switched on, a permission matrix of full, view or hidden per module and per role, your own custom fields, your pricebook, your document templates, and proposals and reports rendered with your branding rather than ours. Report themes come in three kinds: shared, granted to everyone on your industry pack, or locked to your brand alone.
A vendor small enough to build for you is also small enough to have fewer integrations, a smaller community and less training material than the incumbents. Requests are scoped and prioritised rather than unlimited, and custom development is a top-tier arrangement, not something on every plan. If what you need is depth of third-party integration, the mature platforms win that and we will say so.

We'll show you the inspection-to-proposal-to-signature flow, your PDFs branded to your company, and financing offers on the proposal record rather than in a separate portal. Live, in a 30-minute demo.
